Salesforce

Connected via Salesforce.

What flows in

Loyalty tier, sizes or products purchased, credit/membership status, and lifecycle stage, matched to a customer record.

Data grain

Treated as a identity-level source when building personas.

Why it matters

Salesforce is usually the system of record for who a customer is. Triangul8 treats it as the anchor for identity resolution -- every other source gets matched back to the customer record living here.

What Salesforce brings to Triangul8

Salesforce is where most organizations keep the closest thing they have to a definitive customer record - contact profiles, account hierarchy, lifecycle stage, opportunity history, and whatever custom fields the business has accumulated over years of use. It is also, in most companies, completely disconnected from the people writing marketing content.

That disconnection is the whole problem. A CRM knows which customers renewed, which churned, which upgraded, and which went quiet - and none of that reaches the person writing the product page. Triangul8 reads Salesforce as an input to persona development, so the segments your content is written for are built partly from the same records your sales and success teams work in every day.

What flows in

Contact & account profiles

Firmographic and demographic attributes that anchor identity resolution across your other systems

Lifecycle stage

Where each customer sits today - prospect, active, lapsed, renewed - which strongly predicts what content will land

Opportunity & deal history

What was bought, at what value, and how long the cycle took, which separates high-value segments from volume ones

Custom fields

Tier, segment, region, or whatever your team already tracks - these often carry the most business-specific signal in the whole dataset

How the connection works

Salesforce records are pulled in and stitched to matching records from your commerce, email, and analytics sources during identity resolution. One customer becomes one profile instead of four fragments, and that resolved profile is what clustering runs against.

Salesforce is an input-only integration. Triangul8 reads from it to build personas; it does not write marketing content back into your CRM.

No connector yet? Any source can feed persona development through flat-file upload or direct API - a prebuilt integration is a convenience, never a requirement.
